RE: Perma-Gard Security Safety System

To whom it may concern:

 Prior to going into contract, the Department of Transportation did a thorough investigation of the testing data and video provided by Perma-Gard Security Safety System, We spoke to and inspected the installation at the Office Depot's Corporate Headquarters in Delray Beach, Florida. We also spoke to the representatives at Dade County Public Health in Miami, Florida, as well as other references provided by the contractor. We were very impressed with their satisfaction and confidence with the Perma-Gard System, Prior to investigating Perma-Gard Security Safety System, the Department of Transportation investigated Hurricane shutters and realized the cost, function and aesthetics would not work for our locations.

 The Haskell Company designed and built District IV Main Headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale and The West Palm Beach Operations Center, You are welcome to visit and inspect either site. We have been under contract since January 23, 1998 and the installation is already approximately 80% complete in all locations. 

We are extremely pleased with the product and installation as well as the cooperation of the contractor. The Department of Transportation feels very comfortable our buildings will have the protection needed to ward off damage from a Hurricane if one should arise. We arc- confident we have made the right choice.

 Dear Mr. Nash: 

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how pleased we are with your new 'Perma-Gard" system. As you know we have it installed at two of our locations and 1 am glad to report that we have now had an opportunity to see how well the system works as a break-in deterrent. We have the system in our new facility that is under construction, Jefferson Reaves, Sr. Overtown Health Center and vandals tried to break the front doors ' in with large rocks and even though they persisted for some time they were incapable of gaming access because the system was so strong that even after they bent the door frame they were unable to get in. I have forwarded photographs to Tom Matthias in Tallahassee for his files so that he can see how well the system worked. Unfortunately they were Polaroid shots and 1 cannot send you copies. We will be contacting you shortly to replace the system on these doors after we accept me building. Again, thank you for a wonderful product with which we are very well pleased.

Dear Richard, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how pleased we were with the flawless installation of your company's Perma-Gard Security Safety film. None of our company's 170 employees were inconvenienced during the 7 days of installation.

 As you know I did a lot of research on your product, as well as getting several competitive bids I also went on site to The Florida Department Of Transportation to inspect the installed product as well as speaking to Don Davis, the project coordinator, who confirmed the professional installation job your company did for them. I know our company made the right choice in selecting the Broward Energy Center for doing the job. Your product proved not only to be superior "but your bid was equally competitive.

 Many of our employees after seeing your product and the professional installation had their homes done as well.

 Being an insurance company whenever a hurricane warning was issued our employees would pack up their computers as well as thousands of files to be moved to a secured area. This resulted in a loss of two days productivity costing our company thousands of dollars. With the Perma-Gard System now installed we feel confident that we will not loose any productivity with the threat of the next hurricane.
